Donation in lieu of Christmas cards

Since 2010, Dr. Schenk has been spreading Christmas cheer in a unique way. Instead of sending Christmas cards to our business partners, we have been donating to social institutions in the neighborhood of our Graefelfing Headquarters or Martinsried facility.

Since then, we have been able to help children in kindergarten, day care, study centers, elementary school, and youth centers with toys, instruments, teaching equipment (like tablet-PCs), and even a former construction trailer that's now an outdoor haven with almost 50.000 EUR.

We are delighted to announce that this year's donation will go to the wonderful open workshop "MachBar" in Graefelfing. They will be using the money to purchase an extraction machine for their metal workshop. MachBar is all about promoting art and culture. Its open workshop is a fantastic space for creative development and collaborative learning. It's a place where people of all ages can make their dreams come true, learn new skills, and share ideas in a supportive community. These kinds of projects not only help us grow as individuals, but they also bring us closer together as a community.
